Coloratura Soprano

Strikingly beautiful, vivacious with a coloratura voice that ranges to Bb above high C with ease and accuracy. Now living in Paris, she has been heard with Opera du Perigord as Eurydice in Orphee aux Enfers, Gabrielle in La Vie Parisienne and Olympia in Les Contes d'Hoffman. Recently she was heard as the Queen of the Night in Mexico City and Mazatlan where she received rave reviews. This young soprano is headed for world recognition and stardom. Her repertoire: Queen of the Night, Silbertöne, Olympia, Lakme, Titania, Blondchen, Zerbinetta and Cunegonde.

New on the operatic scene, she was outstanding as La Belle Helene with Opera du Perigord in Perigueux, Thiviers, Excideuil and St Yrieix recently. Boston based, the mezzo received praise for her Principessa in Suor Angelica, Zia in Gianni Schicchi anf The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors. With such prestigious musical organizations as: Boston Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative and Opera by the Bay. She will soon be heard in European houses as Amneris, Jeanne d’Arc, Eboli and Santuzza.

Michael Pegher
Michael Pegher, Tenor

The most promising young character tenor on the international scene. Michael Pegher proved that he is worthy of opera houses worldwide with his performances of King Menelas in Offenbach’s La Belle Helene with Opera du Perigord in France this past season. The critics and public were unanimous in praise of his talent: “Michael Pegher sang as if he owned the stage…ringing secure high notes.”(Sud Ouest – France).
His repertoire is vast in one so young: Mozart’s Pedrillo, Basilio, Tamino, Ferrando, Monastatos; Spalanzani and Franz in Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Beppe in Pagliacci, Alcindoro in La Boheme. And he is making a name for himself in the contemporary repertoire in operas such as: Rorem’s A Childhood Miracle (Snowman), Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Poulenc’s Les Mamelles de Tiresias (Le Mari), Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortileges (Arithmetique), with Opera du Perigord in France (Perigueux, Excideuil, Thiviers, St-Yrieix), Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati May Festival, Miami of Ohio Opera and Opera Festival of Lucca in Italy. Michael Pegher is now under Fest Contract with Oldenburg Opera, Germany.
