Curriculum
Our commitment
Salzburg, the city of Mozart, is the ideal cultural setting for study and performance of the works of the Master.
The curriculum is designed to give a deeper insight into Mozart's particular style as well as the German repertoire, giving young singers the tools needed to succeed in the profession.
Features
Voice-Interpretation
Weekly lessons with our specialized faculty. Lessons focus mostly on diction and interpretation. However, technical advice is available if requested by the student.
Role preparation
Coaching focused on the opera production of the year. Each student will focus on his/her role as well as chorus parts if necessary.
Performance
Because we believe ther is nothing like real performance to learn about performance, singers are guaranteed a minimum of two stage appearances.
German Language
With two levels of German, the program concentrates on oral expression.
Master classes
Each summer, several guest artists are invited to share their knowledge of the German and Mozart repertoires with our students.
Coaching
Focusing on Lieder and opera arias, our coaches will work with each student to achieve the best interpretation of the music selections.
