The Grand Concours is an international vocal competition is dedicated to the discovery and support of talented young opera singers who seek to further their skills through the study and performance of French Art Song, French Opera and Operetta. It is designed to reward the most accomplished and promising artists in this repertoire.

 

The Finals are held at Bates Recital Hall of the Butler School of Music of the University of Texas in Austin.

 

The Grand Concours is non-discriminatory and receives the support of the French Embassy and the Consulate General of France in Houston, Texas
